St Margaret’s Gallery is an independent art space where artists can show and sell their work in this easterly corner of England. 

 

Lack of affordable, city centre places to exhibit brought together local makers and artists.
St Margaret's Gallery has emerged from this collaboration, so filling this void. It is  now a charity run collectively by volunteers.

 

Keeping the hire rates affordable ensures a diverse programme of exhibitions which are free to enter for visitors.

 

Accessible talks, demonstrations and workshops, as well as Friends and volunteers are contributing to the growth of a creative community.
 

Activities are funded by sponsorship, grant applications and donations.
